Joakim Noah has been getting alot of attention this young NBA season. But not for his frizzy locks. It's been his superb play. Yes, I said superb. I got a taste of it last Friday night when I got to see him almost single-handedly defeat the Celts on their home floor.
Young Joakim is averaging an impressive 15 points, 15 boards, 2 blocks & 2 assists in the first 6 games this year. He put up 26 that night against the C's including 10 of 10 from the charity-stripe. When Carlos Boozer returns from his hand injury sometime next month, the Bulls will have a very formidable front court.
Noah was on ESPN Radio's Waddle and Silvy yesterday morning talking about just how much he dislikes our hometown hero Kevin Garnett. Among Noah's comments were "dirty player", "I don't like him" and "ugly…"
The comments are nothing new. Noah said the same thing during the playoffs.
The Bulls and Celtics next meet back in ChiTown on December 3rd. Should be a good rematch.
