David Kahn fails… again

Chuck - Red's Army July 15, 2010 Uncategorized 3 Comments

What made Wolves GM David Kahn the laughingstock of the NBA this off-season? Was it the $20 million he gave Darko Milicic? The $16 million he gave Luke Ridnour? Dealing for Michael Beasley? Trading Al Jefferson for cap relief?

Answer – all of the above.

Listen to Kahn painfully try to compare Darko to Chris Webber in this NBA TV interview. C-Webb wanted no part of the discussion.

A couple of Celtics related nuggets (via Twitter):

Rajon Rondo has been
named to the USA Basketball Men's National Team. 21 players will have a
training camp in Las Vegas on July 19-24.

The Boston Celtics have (officially) re-signed team captain
and forward Paul Pierce. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not
disclosed.

Don’t forget, he agreed to swap 1st round picks with the Heat in the Beasley deal because…you know…it’s pretty likely the Timberwolves will be better than the Heat.
And hey, anytime you can sign your 4th point guard to a 16M dollar deal, you have to do it.

Any news on Marquis Daniels? Any chance Boston brings him back to see how he can be off the bench healthy?

I was cringing the whole way through that…the guy literally knows nothing about basketball!
