Shelden  Shelden is going to Dennver on a minimum deal

The Nuggets made two more moves on Wednesday to solidify their bench. A league source told's John Hollinger that the team has agreed to terms with forward Shelden Williams and guard Anthony Carter  and is expected to sign both later in the day. Both deals would be for the league's veteran minimum salary.

Denver also signed Al Harrington… but CLEARLY Shelden is the big splash.

Hey Shelden… thanks for the memories.

Sheldon started strong last year…made us not miss big baby for 2 months. Then baby came back and Sheldon never got a chance to do anything…and when he did get is 2 minutes he generally sucked.
not much of a loss i guess.

I think he did well when given consistent minutes

I think Sheldon did okay on the glass and defensivly when given a chance. C’s still need a big, I guarantee O’Neal will miss 30 games with various ailments. Erden is a project and that’s about the best thing I can say about him. There’s damn few even decent big guys left so what the hell is DA thinking?
Never thought I’d say this but I sincerely hope Sheed rethinks retirement.

Hey Shelden, good riddance. Thanks for turning over the ball twice in two seconds to Kobe Bryant and almost blowing a game 2 victory in LA.

If it’s a big we need DA should dangle Sheed to the Bobcats for soon to be waived Eric Dampier. That would kill our opportunity to get a quality wing though. A better idea is Dampier might be avail at veteran’s minimum after he clears waivers. Ray Ray needs to get on the horn with Dampier and start talking up vet’s min and a shot at a ring.

If your going to give Danny sh#t for letting sheldon “I can’t hold the whopper cause my hands are to small” williams walk, you need to take a breath and think about it. There will always be talent equal to his available. In Danny we trust….

Amen to that. DA would have been executive of the year if he managed to sign and trade Williams to Denver and had extracted a 2nd round pick…
