There are multiple reports that Paul Pierce’s deal is officially done. The deal is for 4 years, $61 million with the 4th year fully guaranteed. More details and proper linkage in the morning dump.

I am not too sure about this.. TImes are different nowadays… Loyalty vs. Business. Don’t get me wrong I like PP but 4 years??? Whoa. ALL I CAN THINK OF IS 1992 WHEN THE CELTS WAITED TOO LONG TO LET GO.

Actually kinda ridicoulous when u think about it…Rondo just inked a deal that will pay him 55 million in more years?
Absurd Pierce gets more then that at this point of his career when u think about it
Rondo = Biggest Bargain in NBA, had he waited until the offseason he would have gotten max offers

Your right but Pierce did a smart business move to get this deal done. He wouldn’t opt out of 21.5 mil next year to make Rondo’s salary…
