LET’S GO Cs! Let’s do this!

  • inverse

Not true, definitely a pivotal game, but there is obviouslt a lot more pressure on Boston than LA

  • DRJ

No team has won back-to-back yet… that’s the pattern. But they gotta break the pattern at some point. Might as well be now.

  • Wiggs Dannyboy

I didn’t like what Mr. Pierce did at the end of the half….

  • Celtics Girl

If the Cs can stop turning the freakin’ ball over and maintain what they’re doing, they’ll be in good shape.
    Go Cs!!

  • thebleeptruth

Darn that was a lost opportunity to end the half. Pierce should have taken the ball. I just hope all is well, and no conflict goes on between Rondo and Pierce in the locker room. I think it started in the possession before that when Rondo went to the hole in transition instead of passing out to Pierce for a probable 3. But I’m sure the case would have been different had Rondo made the lay-up. Mark Jackson said Pierce at the end of the half was frustrated at Rondo for not getting him going, but like I said hopefully it’s no big deal.

  • thebleeptruth

Celtics would be up more than 10 now if it weren’t for those turnovers. They also have to protect the boards. Lakers getting too many offensive rebounds.

  • CFH

Since Pierce had the presence of mind to wipe the scowl off his face and say three times that he wasn’t upset for the ABC interview, I’m thinking no big deal… he’ll let it go.

  • I_Smell_Cigar_Smoke

Does anyone know how close Ray is to holding the all time NBA record for three point makes? I know he is pretty close to Reggie, but how close?

  • thebleeptruth

Hopefully so. Considering the magnitude of the game though, I don’t know why the hell Pierce didn’t even wait till the end of the half. He outright turned his back. That could have 2 or 3 points wasted. Oh well let’s go for a stronger and less turnover-prone 2nd half!

  • SorryMan

I mean I doubt that he would tell the media that he is upset with Rondo not passing it to him. Haha I could see the headlines on ESPN now.

  • DRJ

The problem in the first half was almost all RONDO. 3 assists to FOUR TURNOVERS. A tech. Multiple bad decisions. He alone is responsible for this not being a double-digit lead. I don’t know if he’s just too amped up now, or whether all the media attention has gone to his baby head…. but he needs to get it together, and if not, let Nate take this one home.

  • ShawnCVD

Any RA Los Angeles chapter at Sunny Mcleans tonight? Also come out 4 game six. I’ll save a seat 4 u I got day off. Reply with ur interest. It’s on Wilshire in Santa Monica.

  • DRJ

    I might show up :)

  • thebleeptruth

    Yeah Celtics rolling!!!

  • thebleeptruth

Like I said before, stop forcing players to be the stars. I know Rondo has grown to be a leader. And that Ray Allen has Fisher as his defender. But for this series, it’s really got to be Pierce! Stick to what’s working.

  • Wiggs Dannyboy

I really like what Mr. Pierce is doing to start the second half….
    Go Celts!

  • DRJ

Great 3rd q. But Rondo… man, that kid is seriously bad tonight.

  • Celtics Girl

I think Rondo is just super juiced tonight, but he is being careless with the ball.

  • thetitleisours

The team knows this is a must win. We don’t want to try to win two in LA

  • DRJ

Doc needs to put Nate in. Rondo’s horrible out there

  • Rush

right on cue for the tip-in by rondo. :D

  • thebleeptruth

C’mon guys!!! Keep it together for the last minute!!! Garnett should stop taking long jumpers. And if he does, he should shoot straightaway.

  • thebleeptruth

Wrap it up this Tuesday! YEAH!

  • Rush

celtics win!!! that should keep the blabbermouths quiet for the next 24+ hours!!!

  • lakerman34

You guys defended your homecourt in a game that you were playing for your lives. Good job.
Now come to LA, where WE will be playing for OUR lives. You did your job, now our guys gotta do their’s.
Note: You guys are gonna love this. I come on here and talk about the game cuz over on the chatbox on TLN, haha, some Laker fans are a tad loony.
    Still. Lakers in 7.

  • Celtics Girl

I do hope Doc uses Phil Jackson’s huddle comments about how the Cs know how to lose to motivate people.

  • I_Smell_Cigar_Smoke

Paul and KG were huge tonight.
I’m so afraid that either Odom or Artest are going to finally catch fire in LA though.

  • Rush

yup we played well. and i agree that that the lakers will play their hearts out in game 6. but there won’t be a game 7.

  • Caterpillar from Italy

Yeah! Back in LA, but this time they’re scared..
    GO CELTICSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shawn-cvd

The place was electric to night. This is THE premier place to watch the Celtics Finals. Comer out RA LA Chapter- you won’t be disappointed.

  • Shawn-cvd

The premier place in LA of courseB)

  • Shawn-cvd

Hey John and Chuck! Add this to the collection! A guarantee for Lakers in 7!

  • DRJ

In the end, both Ray and Rondo woke up… well, Ray sorta woke up… and Paul and KG stayed on fire… and Kobe, amazing as he is, could not win the game by himself.
    Sounds about right.
