NBA rescinds 1 Perk tech

I can’t believe some of you complaining about physical play in the playoffs. When our guys did it against every other team, including the Lakers in the Finals and especially to Gasol and Kobe, you called it “toughness”. When someone else is doing it you’re calling them a thug and want them thrown out. Unbelievable.

THANK YOU!! Finally, a Celtic fan I can respect. Now we’re talkin. Before this series I always thought of Celtic fans as very appreciative, knowledgeable NBA fans. But my opinion has changed drastically now. Uncle Leo, you are the minority.

Having been over at CelticsBlog, or what should now be known as RealGM Hysteria West, I’m not surprised to find people fixated on the officials – or dismissive of the absurdly rapid dropoff in the quality of the Celtics’ play.
Certainly the loss of Perkins hurt – but you dismiss out of hand the fact that we’ve played two respectable quarters of defense, the third and fourth Monday night, out of two games. That’s where the whining about the officiating simply falls apart.
Rondo’s quitting on first contact on too many picks, a big reason why Nelson has gone off in the laat two games. The blitzers are losing the roller. The rotations are universally late. There’s nary a soul boxing out on the defensive end.
The defense, to put it simply, hasn’t been good enough to win a playoff game for six out of the last eight quarters, whether Eddie F. Rush or Jesus Christ himself is working the ballgame.
The officiating last night stunk. But to hang all of the loss on that is a cop-out, plain and simple. If the Celtics don’t find the D, we’re done winning games this season.

In regards to games 4 and 5 of the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals, these were two of the most blatantly, horribly officiated games I have witnessed in the 27 years I have been a fan of the NBA. League officials are making it obvious to fans that these playoff series are being manipulated and extended for financial benefit. This shows a complete and total disrespect to the fans and players. It has been widley known among fans that the NBA has its own agenda and teams in larger markets with the ability to bring in more money to the corrupt coffers of the NBA make it farther in the playoffs.
Attendance and revenue are down in this sport, it’s a well known fact. Continuing to control the outcome of games by officials will only cause more fans to become disgusted and no longer continue to support teams, therefore lowering revenues even more. You should realize that an honestly refereed game with no hidden agenda by the leaders of this league would bring more fans and therefore more money to your pocket.
Please stop this manipulation and let these guys play an honest game and give the fans what they pay for and deserve!

And then Magic fans you want a flagrant on Pierce on Reddick. GO AHEAD NOBODY CARES THE GAME WAS OVER AT THAT POINT, KNOW WHAT AN IMPORTANT CALL IS AND KNOW WHAT CALL ISN’T IMPORTANT. The Pierce flagrant on Reddick means absolutetly nothing. It doesn’t mean the calls go both ways.
