C’s don’t want a 12th round knockout

Via Chris Forsberg

"That's our mentality right now, we've got a team on the ropes, and we
don't want to give them any more confidence," said Pierce.

"I'm a big fan of boxing and I've seen boxers lose 11 rounds, then knock
a guy out in the 12th round. Anything is possible, like Kevin [Garnett]
says. I don't want to leave anything behind. We don't plan on coming
back to South Beach, probably until the summer."

Chris has sound from all of the Big 3, and there's one running theme:  We're not done here yet.

So while people like me have already started thinking about the next round… like when I appeared on the Big Jab's Weekend Warmup this morning…. The Big 3 still have a job to do.

You know what I like about these wins? The C’s have won in almost every fashion: A comeback, a blowout, and a walk off buzzer beater by the captain. They have a lot of weapons for winning, and they are clicking on all cylinders right now. Game 4 is a must-win game. They must be totally focused on the win so they can begin to rest and study film for the next series. This could be one of the most important series’ in franchise history. Think about what the outcome of a Celts/Cavs semifinals means this year. If we can get road wins against the Cavs this year, we can go all the way to a championship. I believe, do you guys?

  • They are in an all out manhunt to try and find where Kobe Bryant has gone hiding.
And yes I love the this mentality. Let’s end this thing tomorrow.

Great post!! Too busy wondering whether Kobe’s gonna try do it all himself (game 3) or not shoot at all (for 15 minutes in game 4). Go the thunder!

Your so right man, the series against the Cavaliers, I believe determines the NBA Champion this year. It’s gonna be one hell of a fight. I love how the Cs are playing right now but don’t underestimate the cavaliers. They are one hell of a team and VERY hard to beat at home

After Cavs will be the Magic. In NO way will this be easy for us but in no way will this be easy for our opponents.
