Enemy Chatter: Celtics fans should be worried

Chuck - Red's Army April 14, 2010 Uncategorized 3 Comments

I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and
bloggers
are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose
of 'enemy chatter' from Chicago.

Outside of perhaps limiting KG's minutes some and thus playing more of
the truly awful
Rasheed Wallace (this
happened
), and also had a 4th quarter possession  throwing a pass
directly to the first row, and the 1-7 from the field) the
Celtics
had their optimal rotation and were certainly playing to win. And the
Bulls took it to them…

The Celtics lost out on a chance to get the #3 seed, and will now have
to face Cleveland in the second round. But after getting a good look at
them tonight, if I were a fan of that team I'd be worried about even
making it to the second round.

Blog a Bull

I guess this Bulls blogger isn't aware of our 'flip-the-switch' strategy come playoffs.

He is smart. Notice the reference to Cleveland in the 2nd round. Not even Bulls bloggers are giving their team a shot in the 1st round vs the Cavs.

How is he going to say that the Celtics were giving it there all? At one point they had Nate Robinson in the game with 2 minutes left down 4. There is no way KG plays that little in a game that they are trying so hard to win.
