RedsArmy.com Player of the Week: Rajon Rondo

RedsArmyAdmin March 27, 2010 Uncategorized 4 Comments

Rondo hand raised

Games this week:

  • @ Utah:      6 pts, 6 ast, 4 reb, 3 stl, 4 to
  • vs. Denver:  11 pts, 15 ast, 11 reb, 4 stl, 4 to
  • vs. Sacramento:  6 pts, 18 ast, 4 reb, 3 stl, 2 to

Rondo had 23 points and 39 assists this week to go along with 10 steals.  So Rondo was personally responsible for around 110 points or so this week… while taking at least 20 potential points away from the other team.

The Utah game was a tough one, but he was on against Denver and Sacto. And when he's on… it's a gorgeous thing to watch.  Yes, KG had a couple of monster double-doubles… but a lot of that scoring wasn't possible without Rajon Rondo.  So that earns Rajon the tiebreaker, and player of the week honors.

good choice. it would be nice if rondo learned to shoot free throws. come play off time that might be their achilles heal. will teams intentionally put rondo at the free throw line?

  • Jason

71% in March. Awesome? No. But definitely improvement from 59%.
