Celtics/Pacers Game Preview

Chuck - Red's Army March 12, 2010 Uncategorized 5 Comments

Troymurphy

Celtics (40-23) vs Pacers (21-43)

Game time:  7:30pm, TD Garden. TV – CSN. Radio – WEEI-AM (850).

Team Leaders

Scoring
Bos: Pierce – 17.5                  Pacers: Danny Granger – 23.1

Rebounding
Bos: Perkins – 7.7                  Pacers: Troy Murphy – 9.7

Assists
Bos: Rondo – 9.8                    Pacers: Earl Watson – 4.6

Who'll go off:  Ray Allen. The Pacers are one of the worst perimeter defensive teams in the league.

Who needs to be stopped:  Danny Granger. Explosive scorer who could will give Paul Pierce fits.

The C's will lose if…  They want to. The Pacers are a poor defensive team, mediocre rebounding team, and average shooting team. A loss to Indy after what transpired Wednesday night would be catastrophic to the team's psyche.

Miscellaneous:  Paul Pierce is averaging 12.5 points and shooting 34.1 percent from the field over the last four games. The season series is 1-1. Indiana owns a 7-27 road record.

Prediction:  Celtics 103 – Indiana 79

After the jump, the Celtics dancers. They've been the only thing worth watching at the Garden lately.

This is a must-win, as much as you can have a must-win game in March.
Need to show some pride out on the court tonight.

Let’s see if Pierce will show up today against one of the best Forwards in the league today. I would like to see Pierce hold him to a minimal game. This should be a win for us I agree with your prediction for this game. Lets get it in Boston

God bless you for having the faith to give this team a 24-point win over anybody right now.
    I would take a win.
