Celtics (38-21) at 76ers (22-38)

Game time: 7pm, Wachovia Center. TV – CSN. Radio – WEEI-AM (850).

Team Leaders

Scoring
Bos: Pierce – 17.9                  76ers: Andre Iguodala – 17.2

Rebounding
Bos: Perkins – 7.8                  76ers: Sam Dalembert – 9.6

Assists
Bos: Rondo – 9.9                    76ers: Iguodala – 5.8

Who'll go off:  Ray Allen. He had just 3 points in the Charlotte game and is going up against the defensively-challenged Lou Williams. I say that's a recipe for a break out game.

Who needs to be stopped:  Lou Williams. He's averaging 20.8 points in 5 games since becoming the starting shooting guard.

The C's will lose if…  Philly ranks in the bottom third in scoring, FG% and 3FG%. But that doesn't mean the Celtics can come out without defensive intensity. As always, the Celtics need to limit the damage on the boards, the 76ers are a decent offensive rebounding team (rank 10th).

Miscellaneous:  Boston leads the season series 2-1. The 76ers have lost four straight. Elton Brand (achilles) is questionable.

Prediction: Celtics 102 – 76ers 91

After the jump, the Sixers dancers.

Lou has been playing very well-kid is quick as hell, but obviously so is our starting PG. I would be more concerned about protecting the glass and boxing out. C’s have had some serious trouble with rebounding, particularly offensively, at times this year. They must box out and keep guys like Speights, Young, Dalembert and even Iggy from crashing the boards for put backs, tips and easy offensive/defensive boards.
