Celtics (29-13) at Magic (29-16)

Game time: 8pm, Amway Arena, Orlando, FL. TV – TNT. Radio – WEEI-AM (850).

Team Leaders

Scoring
Bos: Pierce – 18.9                  Magic: Dwight Howard – 17.4

Rebounding
Bos: Perkins – 8.5                  Magic: Dwight Howard – 13.3

Assists
Bos: Rondo – 9.7                    Magic: Jameer Nelson – 4.8

Who'll go off:  Kevin Garnett. I'm expecting a suffocating defensive performance on Rashard Lewis, and a steady diet of open 17-foot jumpers.

Who needs to be stopped:  Mickael Pietrus, Ryan Anderson, Jason Williams and the rest of the Magic bench.

The C's will lose if…  they don't defend the perimeter. The Magic lead the league in 3 point attempts and makes. If they rotate on defense, and continue to limit Dwight Howard's effectiveness in the paint, they should pick up the win.

Miscellaneous:  Vince Carter may be emerging from his January slump. He's tallied 21 and 15 points in his last two games. Dwight Howard is on a roll – 22.4 points, 14.6 rebounds and 3.6 blocks in his last 5 games. Brian Scalabrine (shoulder) should be available tonight.

Prediction:   Celtics 92 – Orlando 88

leon wood is officiating so that means technical fouls for the celtics and maybe ejections.
