Hey Lakers fans… do you like apples?

RedsArmyAdmin January 7, 2010 Uncategorized 11 Comments

Hey… remember when the Celtics lost to the Clippers?  And remember when Lakers fans came rushing to the site to make fun of us… saying things like:

Ref said in reply to Matt (who mentioned the Lakers loss to Orlando)…

At least it wasn't the Clippers? LMAO…we lost to a playoff team unlike the smeltics lol

prefuse said in reply to NineSevenEight…

and the team that the Celtics can't beat. 76'ers and Clippers HAHAH

SorryMan said…

The celtics just can't win against any team in LA

(There were a lot more, but I didn't feel like editing all the curses)

Well… The Lakers lost to the Clippers last night.

the basketball gods are fair (and read blogs) lol
i remember one saying the celt’s rivalry is with the lakers and that we lost to the wrong LA team.

Awesome post. I can’t stand those f’ing trolls.
Incidentally, for the first time ever, I went to the site-that-shall-not-be-named, just to see if C’s fans go there to gloat and aggravate like Laker trolls do here. The site was unavailable. Finally when it came back up, there were no a-hole C’s fans spouting off, but a whole bunch of fair-weather, chicken-little tools. Guys, you’re the defending champs, you’ve lost 7 games all season, you were without Gasol, calm down. I will tell you one thing, Laker fans may act Kobe-level cocky, but they fear Boston for real. Their constant insecurity, despite being on top of the mountain already, is both pathetic and hilarious, fitting for the most fake city in the world.

I noticed the same thing. My rant about fearing the Lakers ended up on LakersNation…and some were commenting on how I had more faith in LA than most of the fans.

I happen to be both a Laker and Clipper fan – While I am dissapointed in the Laker loss, the Clippers are a very good team (surprisingly not shown by their record). Unfortunately, the Lakers don’t yet have a solution to winning games on the second of a back 2 back. I’m not terribly worried, though, since they have Kobe, Artest, Bynum, Odom and Gasol…which can’t be THAT bad. Can’t wait to see you guys soon in Boston – I hope that both clubs are full strength : )

Fn Lakers…even their ‘away’ games are at home.
and is Kobe hurt or something? I don’t think I’ve heard anything regarding him and injuries and playing through them but i caught some of NBAChannel last night and they have him atop a list of the “Warriors” this season, the toughest guys who play through injuries. Am I missing something? Does his vajeen hurt?

And this is why I am disappointed, not just with my fellow Laker fans, but with most arrogant sports fans. I feel like the majority can’t resist pouncing on another team when they lose, but they forget that their team is just as capable of losing. Once something like this happens, they disappear for a while, only to crawl back out when their hated team loses again.

Don’t forget, too, regardless of the color of their uniforms, this was a home game for the Lakers (they get 43 of them a year)…bahahahahahaha!!!

    THAT’S ME!!!!!!!

    THATS ME TOO

    * chirp * chirp *
Oh wait, I forgot. I have to scrape the tacos off the floor of my trailer in El Segundo.
It’s OK though, still plenty of time to pleasure myself whilst staring at my Kobe Fathead. Carry on, chaps!

It goes even further than just the fans, it seems. The team recently allowed Kobe to continue playing through: broken finger, strained elbow, strained knee. It feels like they’re really worried about HCA vs. Boston… enough to endanger their franchise player to win a couple more games in December/January. Weird.
On the other hand, I think they SHOULD be afraid of the Cs. We have their number, and they know/fear it. I’m convinced that if both teams are fully healthy, Cs win hands down.
