LeBron and Dwyane are conspiring to rule the world

Lebron wade

I want to come up with words to set up this quote… but I… i just can't.

"Before we agreed to terms, LeBron and I had a couple conversations,"
Wade said. "I can't recall exactly what we said, but the gist of it was
we wanted to give ourselves the flexibility and the option to play

"A lot of times in this league, players usually wind up
going where they can get the most money. We're both blessed within that
area. We've made a lot of money. So we wanted to base our decision on
two things, the organization and the ability to win a title. And that's what we'll do. When the season is over, we plan to sit down and talk about it."

So DWade and LeBron are talking about taking less money to play together on the same team.

Well… it was fun while it lasted.  Just please… please don't let Pat Riley be the beneficiary of this.  Or Phil Jackson.  Go to like Portland or something.  Or Oklahoma City.  I can live with that.

Why would Phil Jackson benefit from this? If they want to make this happen either Lebron will sign with Miami or Wade signs with Cleveland right?

    What a sick, sick thought.

Hey, imagine if they become teammates LOL talk about “No Calls” during a game.

  • DRJ

Here’s another sick thought… what if they pooled their resources and BOUGHT an NBA team? They could do it, because what finance guy wouldn’t wanna back THOSE two? Then they go play for themselves… oh boy… is that even legal??

It’s actually not that great of an idea. Playing basketball well doesn’t mean you know how to run a basketball organization. There are many examples of this. There are also many examples of players, who aren’t even owners, who have tried to influence operations with bad results. I can see lots of finance guys not wanting to back them.

    Well, good then!

  • I just choked.
