Sam Dalembert clinches the win… for Dallas

RedsArmyAdmin December 1, 2009 Uncategorized 2 Comments

Andre Iguodala was having a clutch night for himslef last night in Dallas.  He'd already hit a game-tying 3 with 5.6 seconds left against the Mavs… and he was about to hit the game winning 3 at the buzzer.

That is until Samuel Dalembert… who, remember, does play for the same team as Andre… inexplicably swooped in and knocked the shot away (starting at 1:55 in the video).

Someone check Sam's cell phone and see if any of the recent calls were to or from a T. Donaghy.

Would the “tip-in” have counted anyway if he had knocked it in since the clock was at all zeros as soon as the ball left Iguodala’s hand? Simply just have left it alone, looked like it was going in anyway

NO, too late for an alley oop…
