Ray: Paul and I felt great

Ray and paul

Back in May, we heard Ray Allen had a hamstring problem and Paul Pierce had bone spurs during the Orlando series.  But Ray says that's not true.

“I wasn’t beat up,” Allen said. “I was ready to go another series. I
think people wanted to assume that we were beat up. They wanted to
assume that me and Paul were beat up because we played so many minutes
throughout the year, but he and I, we felt great.”

Personally… I think Ray is full of it.  I think he and Pierce WERE banged up but he's too proud to say otherwise.  No excuses.  That's what I like about Ray.

He might be trying to… but he’s not that successful at it. :)

Yep, exactly. Ray’s way too competitive to admit weakness.

That’s a great attitude! but it worries me caused they seemed like pretty much beat up in the orlando series:)

Hmm,If he wasnt hurt in the orlando series, or banged…he should be ashamed of shooting under 30% with JJ reddick and a rookie defending him…I love ray, really do…but he was just bad in the orlando series and noone likes calling him out for it, they just feel comfortable pinning rondo
