Greeks going after Nate Robinson?

RedsArmyAdmin July 15, 2009 Uncategorized 2 Comments

Nate robinson
Olympiakos has already brought back Josh Childress for another season… now they might be going after Nate Robinson.

the Greek team is hoping to sign Robinson as another ticket-seller, who would easily be a bigger star there.

According to the story — loosely translated — Olympiakos may also
consider a run at Ramon Sessions, who is a restricted free agent with
the Bucks.

European teams can sign restricted free agents from the NBA with no
compensation. But the NBA team does maintain the player's rights.

I think the Greek crowds would like Nate.  Just a heads up, though… we Greeks can get a little nuts

Nate knows he could make a ton in Greece with endorsements alone. They would absolutely love him. Not to mention the addition of him and Sessions would easily make them the favorite for best team in Greece/Europe. If you haven’t seen the video (we Greeks can get a little nuts) it’s a must-see. Josh Childress almost came running back home…

I’m on the other side. Robinson is not that important, and he’s too selfish to play in Europe. European basketball is not just about pure talent, as lots of American tend to think. He’d last three or four games in Greece, and then the fans would go crazy… but not in the good sense.
BTW, I hear Marbury is headed for Italy… I guess Milan is his destination.
