Sheed’s gonna take a week to think about it

Sheed watch Frank Dell'Apa reports

Rasheed Wallace is not expected to make a decision on the Celtics'
offer of a mid-level exception contract for at least a week. The
Celtics sent Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce, along with
president of basketball operations Danny Ainge and managing partner Wyc
Grousbeck, to Wallace's suburban Detroit home for a three-hour meeting

Wallace will meet with other teams next week — he is high on the
lists for Orlando and San Antonio, teams which could offer him a
starting position. The Celtics project Wallace as a backup. Charlotte
is also interested in Wallace, who owns a home in North Carolina.

All I want to know is what is the fucking backup plan because this dude is very unpredictable. Maybe Brandon Bass? I would like to see him in Green dude is a beast him and Big Bbay off the bench would be very formidable.

  • Antonio McDyess is the back up plan. Chris Mannix called him the Big Consolation Prize on Comcast Sports Tonight….either San Antonio or Boston will grab McDyess if they lose out on Wallace.

I think if we offered to buy his detroit real estate from him for what he originally paid for it he might be persuaded.
