Here we go again, folks. For the fourth time since the core of this
roster has been assembled, the Celtics are set to play for their season
in a Game 7. I'll spare us all some time. From x's and o's to the
mental mindset, everything that has needed to be said has been said.

We can talk about all the little details all day long, but when it
comes to a Game 7, it's about who wants it more. The play of Ray Allen
is not going to determine tonight's game, nor is Dwight Howard's dunk
count or even another Rajon Rondo triple-double. The winner of this
game is going to be the team that comes out and executes at a higher
level, sacrifices their bodies to win the 50/50 game, leaves it all out
on the floor, and proves that they belong in the Eastern Conference
Finals. Both clubs are playing for the life of their season. The winner
moves on, the losers watches the winner from their couches at home.

I look for a big game out of Pierce and Rondo. Common guys let’s get it done!!

  • Tonight, every possession counts. Remember last year when Pierce out-hustled Lebron to go after a loose ball after a jump ball in the closing minute of Game 7 last year against the Cavs? Remember that gaining that possession LOCKED the win for the Celts.
This is the mentality for tonight: every loose ball, every rebound, every jump ball, every pass, every shot, every defensive opportunity, every everything counts tonight. This team isn’t ready to go home, and I’m not ready to watch the playoffs without green/white in the mix.
Come out focused. Play with intensity. Be aggressive. Play your game: strong defense and good ball movement.
AGGGGHHHHHH!!!! You feelin’ a big game like I’m feelin? Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?

    Not a good start

  • I bleed green in L.A.

Im feeling a close game in the 4th quarter. That should be to our advantage. Perk is doing a great job on Dwight, lets keep him in foul trouble for the next 2 quarters.

Why do we always start like this and think we can come back in the 4th? If we make it to the next round we will get swept!! Cleveland will bull dose us, get your shit together and play like we are supose to play!!!!1
