Celtics
forward Leon Powe underwent successful ACL revision reconstruction with
microfracture and cartilage repair at New England Baptist

The Microfracture thing is new to me.  Regardless, both the ACL and Microfracture surgeries have recovery times of 4+ months.  I don't know what they're gonna do contract-wise with Leon, but I doubt he'd be ready for action in training camp.  I'd bet it extends into the early part of the season, simply because of the two injuries.

I can’t really figure why the Celtics management lied first on the KG injury and then on the Leon Powe injury. Really, I can’t.

I don’t think they lied about Powe. They did say he had a torn meniscus. I just didn’t know he was having microfracture surgery
