Bill Walker Headed to D-League

RedsArmyAdmin November 21, 2008 Uncategorized 3 Comments

Walker is joining J.R. Giddens with the Utah Flash:

“It’s not a demotion at all. So you have you to get that out your mind,” Walker said before Thursday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. “It’s the reason that why they created the D-League, so that instead of having guys sitting on the bench, not staying in shape, they can go down there and play.”

Thanks to Jess Camerato for the tip. Geez, we should hire that gal.

Actually Bill, it IS a demotion. The D-League was created for all the athletes who thought they were the greatest prospects and foolishly entered the draft too soon.

Looks like the Clippers and Knicks just made a trade
“The Los Angeles Clippers continued their roster renovation as they traded guard Cuttino Mobley and forward Tim Thomas for New York Knicks forward Zach Randolph and guard Mardy Collins”
Any chance the Celts could grab David Lee by February? Not trying to jump too far ahead, but another big (not mediums that play like bigs) would be a great addition. And with our draft picks getting sent to the D-League, and no sign of playing time for POB or Pruitt, a mid-season pickup may be what we need for another ring?
