Kwame Brown or Patrick O’Bryant?

RedsArmyAdmin July 29, 2008 Uncategorized 4 Comments

The Detroit Pistons – the Celtics number one threat in the Eastern conference – have signed Kwame Brown to a 2-year, $8 million deal. The good folks at Hoopsworld think this is a bargain for the Pistons. But when you compare this signing to the 2-year, $3 million deal the Celtics gave Patrick O'Bryant, you realize the Pistons are pissing away $5 million. I guess when you are a former #1 pick, teams will throw money at you with the hopes of eventually seeing that "potential."

In other news, the Clippers have signed Ricky Davis and the Knicks have traded Renaldo Balkman to the Nuggets.

Your being a little conservative here, Dumars is actually pissing away $8 million. Did he bring Zeke in as a consultant?

I wish Kwame Brown would play overseas. Ohh that’s right over there he would acutally have to play and that;s not in his makeup. Lazy is as lazy does.

The question is, is Michael Jordan disappointed in Kwame?
I thought Dumars promised big moves. Signing Kwame Brown isn’t a big move. (Making him a starter is… though it’s not a good one).
