Jemele Hill Story Picks Up Steam

The Boston media is starting to go with this (video version here)

At the very least, ESPN was forced to respond:

"the column as originally posted made some absolutely unacceptable comparisons. It was edited to correct those and we will continue to look into the issue."

Here's hoping more outlets pick this up.

I wrote a long E-mail yesterday to ESPn about this issue. Within a half an hour I had a personalized reply back that stated “Hello PJ, Thank you for contacting us. We value the comments and opinions of our fans. Your comments in reference to Jemele Hill’s article will be forwarded to the appropriate department for review.” PLEASE send them your own complaints so we can get this horrible analylist gone!

PJ, I recieved the exact same reply, word for word, from ESPN with the exception of the name. I was not satisfied with that, so I replied to the email, and this morning got back an actual response, not some form letter:
    Hi Josh,
    Thank you for contacting us.
I strongly apologize for anything in Jamele Hill’s article that offended you or anyone else. I have forwarded your complaints from this email, as well as your previous email to the appropriate department so that they may take the necessary actions on this matter. Once again, our strongest apologies go out for the article and we hope that you continue to be a fan of ESPN because we do value your continued support. Please
let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
