Pre Game: Eddie’s Focused, Team Is Loose

RedsArmyAdmin May 18, 2008 Uncategorized 2 Comments

The Globe is at the Garden… and has provided us with a couple of interesting tidbits.  First… Sam Cassell is acting like he's expecting another DNP

Not sure how much to read into this, but Eddie House stayed on the court after the Celtics' walkthrough and took jumpers (he looks locked-in). Sam Cassell stood on the side of the court with ice wrapped around his lower back.

And the Celtics are carrying themselves like they did before Game 5

The mood at the Garden is decidedly lighter than it was for Game 7 against Atlanta. It's almost like everyone here expected to play this game. It's very similar to the mood before Game 5 here against the Cavs.

Let's hope the result is the same.  For those of you new to Red's Army… we have ongoing, in-game threads for every game in our forums.  Feel free to swing by for today's discussion.  Joining is free and easy.

I asked for House at the begining of the series for this reason, his hustle and energy and offence that ray allen has not brought. I think we should of started house and brought allen of the bench. But now that were at the half lets not look at what we should of done but what we need to do, just finish them off like we did the hawks.

Game 7 was awesome. I knew that the Cavs wasn’t going down without a fight. However I still perplexed as how the hell the Celts can’t win a game on the road yet for the playoffs. They were so dominant during the reg season. Detriot won’t be easy. Wonder if it really would go to another game 7 series again.
